Thank you Lord for rain followed by sun! We know that Spring is just around the corner and our St. Thomas More Community Garden plans are growing. NOW is the time to sow seeds indoors in peat pots for planting outdoors in our raised beds this Spring. See the link (below) for veggies in San Diego County. The Creation Care Team invites YOU to the next meeting, Saturday, February 2, at 3:00pm in the Parish Center Lower Level.  We can walk our garden site while our garden leaders are away learning about gardening in light of climate change.

Things to do in the Garden in January—continue planting cool-season vegetables where frost seldom occurs. Cool-season vegetables include beets, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, endive, kale, kohlrabi, lettuce, peas, potatoes (white), radishes, rutabagas, and turnips.
