Open to those Confirmed in the Catholic Church. Training is provided. For those interested in ministering at Retirement Communities, St. Thomas More sends teams of Eucharistic Ministers once each week to Aegis at Shadowridge, Emeritus of Carlsbad, Emeritus of Oceanside, the Manse, and Pacific Place. Ministers also assist the deacon at Communion Service every other month at each community.

Assists the priest in the distribution of Holy Communion during Mass, to the homebound, to retirement communities, and to the hospitalized.
Time Requirement:
Daily Mass: serve weekly at one or more Daily Masses, Monday through Friday. Weekend/Holyday Mass: Serve two or three times each month (or more often if desired). Homebound: Serve once each week (days vary by need), following Daily Mass, for the duration of the need. Retirement Communities: Serve once each week (day varies by location), following Daily Mass. Tri-City Hospital: Serve every fourth Tuesday (or more frequently if desired), following Daily
