Gatekeeper Trainings for Suicide Prevention

Date: Monday, February 26, 2018  Time: 7:00pm
Location: St Thomas More, with Ignite HS Youth Group

QPR is designed to give members of the general public the basic skills necessary to recognize the warning signs that someone may be contemplating suicide. As CPR is for the heart, QPR is for the mind.

You will learn to:
Recognize warning signs of suicide
Know how to offer hope
Know how to get help and save a life

Audience: Anyone in a position to recognize a crisis and the warning signs that someone may be contemplating suicide: parents, friends, neighbors, teachers, ministers, doctors, nurses, office supervisors, caseworkers, firefighters, and many others.
