Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, his love endures forever. —1 Chronicles 16:34

Many thanks to Douglas Lynn, for an informative and interesting experience at our November luncheon meeting. He did a great job of explaining the history and workings of the handbell choir. I hope he will consent to return next year with another musical topic. Thanks Douglas! Game Day was Saturday morning, and what a fun time it was! We had 75 attending at last count! We will have more information on Game Day statistics at the December meeting. Thanks to everyone for donating food, baskets, door prizes, and your time and money. Another successful fundraiser! Go Women’s Guild! The Christmas Raffle mailing is in the mail. Three winning tickets will be picked on December 17 on the plaza after the 10:30am Mass. Your participation and generosity in this fund raiser is very appreciated. Our next monthly luncheon meeting is Monday, December 11, when we celebrate with a delicious Advent luncheon and seasonal music to get us in the mood for the Advent and Christmas seasons. Kathy Santy, our Parish pianist, and Judy Smith, VP of Women’s Guild programs, will play beautiful music for us at the luncheon. Always a festive event for Women’s Guild, be sure to set the date on your calendar and consider inviting a guest or two. Please bring a nonperishable item or canned food to donate to the STM shopping cart, any extra teaspoons that you may have to donate to the luncheon, and remember your RSVP with Patty Remington at 760-805-6935 or remingpatty@gmail.com. Anna Marie Martinet, Corresponding Secretary, requests any extra cards that you can donate. Just bring them to the December meeting or place in box 35. Remember in your prayers all of those who may be alone this Thanksgiving and those that cannot be home with their families. May God Bless them and keep them safe. Happy Thanksgiving to All!
