  Maureen Day is the Assistant Professor of Religion and Society at the  F
 ranciscan School of Theology in San Diego\, California and Research Fellow
  at the Center for Applied Research in the Apostolate (CARA) at Georgetown
  University. She is deeply committed to co-creating a more just and compas
 sionate world\, both through her personal and her academic life. Her writt
 en analyses on American Catholic life can be found in both Catholic and ac
 ademic publications\, including her recently released Catholic Activism To
 day: Individual Transformation and the Struggle for Social Justice (NYU Pr
 ess 2020). Maureen was part of the research team for a national study of a
 bortion attitudes\, funded by the McGrath Institute for Church Life\, Univ
 ersity of Notre Dame.\n
