THE LITURGY COMMITTEE
The purpose of this committee is to enhance and encourage the worship of the faith community at the Church of St. Thomas More and stimulate and strengthen personal and communal spiritual growth.
Sub-Committees
Altar Linen Care
Ministers maintain the small church linens used by the priest and ministers during Mass.
Bereavement Ministry
Ministers provide immediate and future funeral planning, assist with funeral liturgies, host receptions, and walk with the bereaved through their season of grief.
Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs
Members provide educational and interactive opportunities with faith communities of other Christian denominations and other religions.
Environment & Art
Ministers provide liturgically suitable surroundings for the parish’s worship through design and production of flower arrangements, fabrics, and other materials.
Eucharistic Adoration
The chapel is open for devotional prayer Monday-Friday. Parishioners are encouraged to visit the Chapel as a part of their regular prayer activity.
Wedding Ministry
Ministers assist with wedding rehearsals and liturgies in support of this joyous sacrament.
