This Sunday we celebrate the Holy Spirit. With the gift of the Spirit, the Apostles and Disciples were given what they needed to continue the mission and ministry of Jesus for their time and their place.
It is that same gift of the Holy Spirit that is keeping us strong during these challenging days.
As a reminder of this, I have a gift for you! It is a five-day Vigil Candle with the above message from the Acts of the Apostles. Please stop by on the Parish Parking Lot on Saturday, May 30, from 10:00am to 12:00noon to accept your candle. We have one candle per household while supplies last (350 available). The candle will be given to you in the same manner as the Blessed Palm was given to you for Palm Sunday. Social Distancing and masks will be required. Simply remain in your car and your blessed candle will be given to you.
You are asked to light the candle on Sunday, the Feast of Pentecost, have it lit during the online Mass and keep it lit as a sign of the presence of the Holy Spirit, in your life and in our Faith Community.
See you on Saturday! -Fr. Mike
