Aging with Grace, Part II
In response to our 2016 event, Aging with Grace, the Parish Social Justice Committee is hosting the second part of this dynamic program. Topics to be included will be:
- The role of spirituality in our aging, health care, and the decisions we make for our end-of-life care
- Health care choices: Palliative Care, Hospice, and the importance of Advance Directives
- End of Life Options Act—what it is, what it is not
- Discussion of the End of Life Options Act from a Catholic perspective
- Planning for the future—funerals
Presenters include Rev. Michael Ratajczak, Sr. Maureen Brown, and Sharon B. Hamill, Professor of Psychology, Faculty Director, CSU Institute for Palliative Care at California State University, San Marcos.
