meeting, the emphasis will be on what our community can do to reduce or eliminate
abortions with Dr. Maureen Day!

- Our Speaker: Dr. Maureen Day is the Assistant Professor of Religion and Society at the Franciscan School of Theology in San Diego, California and Research Fellow at the Center for Applied Research in the Apostolate (CARA) at Georgetown University. She is deeply committed to co-creating a more just and compassionate world, both through her personal and her academic life. Her written analyses on American Catholic life can be found in both Catholic and academic publications, including her recently released Catholic Activism Today: Individual Transformation and the Struggle for Social Justice (NYU Press 2020). Maureen was part of the research team for a national study of abortion attitudes, funded by the McGrath Institute for Church Life, University of Notre Dame.
