Join us each day from August 10 to August 14 as we ride the Rocky Railway together! Each day will be full of family fun from home, as we learn how Jesus can pull us through any situation.
We’ve set VBS up to be not only extra fun for the kids, but easy on the parents, too. Parents can register their children (click here), and pick up the supplies needed for the week in a pre-packaged kit at our Drive Through Depot. Families can then continue all the VBS activities they’d like for the day by watching our pre-recorded videos, which include:
…connect each day with our friends! Every day, at 10:15am, families can log into ZOOM for a morning of Sing and Play. We’ll play games together, share our God Sightings, learn a bit about God’s love for us, and dance to awesome songs! Most importantly – we’ll have FUN connecting with our friends and seeing each other in this interactive session!
…meet our bible buddies! These amazing animals help reinforce the day’s bible point. Whether we turn to the strength of the mountain lion to help us be bold or the soaring falcon to give us hope, we know we’ll always have fun getting to know that day’s character!
…and more! We have some familiar faces here at STM ready to share with you, each day through our pre-recorded videos, some awesome outdoor games to play, snacks to make, and stories to read. We’ve even recorded a few of our own Kids Praise Band songs for you to sing along to. We’re *so* excited to have you join us for this wonderful week. See you on the Rocky Railway!
REGISTRATION DETAILS:
- There are 60 spots open for VBS for this year. Registration begins July 24, 2020 and remains open until all spots have been filled.
- Price per child is $25 per supply kit, which includes five packages (one per day) that will include all the materials your child needs to have an amazing experience with VBS at home!
- Parents will receive a “parent folder”, which includes a few tips for making the week even more special – and helping you feel prepared. This “plug and play” format makes the work on you, the care giver, minimal while maximizing the enjoyment for your child.
- Supply kits (one per student) will be distributed at St. Thomas More’s “Drive Thru Depot” on Wednesday, August 5th from 5:30pm-6:30 and again Saturday, August 8th from 10am-11am in the church parking lot to the first 60 students who register.
- The safety and well-being of students is our top priority, and every precaution will be taken to distribute materials in an orderly, efficient and safe manner. We can’t wait to ride the Rocky Railway with you!
